Our story
Welcome to Asante Pools & Outdoor Living! We are Paul and Emily Nakalanga, and we are honored to serve homeowners throughout our community.
The company’s roots trace back to Uganda, Africa. The name “Asante” comes from the Swahili word meaning “thank you” — a reflection of our gratitude for every client who trusts us with their vision.
Paul’s journey in the pool industry began working alongside Emily’s father, Mark, where he learned the business from the ground up. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience in every aspect of pool construction, including concrete work, plumbing, equipment programming, project management, and sales.
Today, Paul brings extensive industry knowledge and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. Behind the scenes, Emily is a managing partner overseeing business operations, including material orders, administrative management, and company communications, helping ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Together, we are committed to delivering quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and an experience that exceeds expectations.
